Arranging appointments around a new ‘stay safe’ policy

Dear Patients,

In line with government advice, we have introduced a number of stringent new hygiene and personal protection procedures (over and above those we already adhere to as healthcare professionals) that will affect the way we welcome you back and organise appointments. And we’ll be operating under this strict stay safe policy for the foreseeable future.

So, next time you make an appointment, the confirmation email you receive will include guidance on the precautions we will need you to take from the moment you reach our door to the point you leave our building. We’ll also explain the extra steps we’ll be taking, before, during and after each patient visit.

Rest assured, these measures won’t stop you from going ahead with any of the treatments we offer, or make any difference to the quality of the treatments themselves.

Because of these new procedures and the much higher cost of PPE (provided for both patients and staff) this will unavoidably mean an end to 30 minute appointments. 45 minutes is the new minimum standard treatment.
